Weymouth travelled to Gloucester City’s ground to play Truro City yesterday evening with the game remaining goalless and new manager Mark Molesley tallying up his second National League South point since re-joining the club last month.

Our Man at the Match said: “Not a very exiting game, but at least the Terras’ gained another league point and confirmed that Weymouth will retain their place in the National League South”. He added: “On Saturday the Terras play their last game of the current season against Farnborough at home, so with the pressure off all the fans can relax and just enjoy the game”.

Terras manager Mark Molesley gained his second National League South point against Turo.

Portland United hosted Shaftsbury at Grove Corner and striker Greg Borthwick opened the scoring in the 64th minute. The Blues held that lead until the 80th minute when Shaftsbury drew level then 8 minutes later the visitors scored a second goal to snatch victory by 2 goals to 1.

On Saturday Weymouth host Farnborough at the Bob Lucas Stadium, Dorchester visit Basingstoke with manager Tom Killick having the opportunity to extend the Magpies unbeaten run to 13 games, Bridport return to Devon to play Newton Abbott Spurs and Portland United entertain Brockenhurst at Grove Corner.
