Weymouth Football Club’s senior men’s team travel to Park View Road on Saturday to play Welling United and the game will provide returning manager Mark Molesley with his third attempt to break his National League South duck since re-joining the club after taking over from Bobby Wilkinson last month. 

A win at Park View would see the Terras, who are in 16th place in the league table, leapfrog over their guests who are just one point and one place above Weymouth in the table although the Terras do have 2 games in hand.

Dorchester who are currently on a 10 game unbeaten run of form, play hosts to Hanwell Town at the Avenue Stadium the Geordies are in the league drop zone so on current form the Magpies must start this as odd on favourites to pocket all 3 Southern Premier League league points.

 

The Magpie’s manager Tom Killick has led his players to a 10 game unbeaten run.

In the Wessex Premier League Portland United visit Hamble and in the Southwest Peninsular League East Bridport entertain Oakhampton Argyle at St. Mary’s. 

The Tribute Southern Counties Rugby League competition was completed last weekend and resulted in Weymouth & Portland being relegated into the Dorset & Wilts Leagues next season despite finishing in 10th place in the league table.
