Weymouth & Portland Rugby Club Press Release.

Dorset & Wilts Division 1 South.

Weymouth & Portland v Sherborne II match preview.

The Seasiders play hosts to league basement boys Sherborne second xv @ Monmouth Avenue tomorrow (18/02/2017) kick off 2.15pm, the visitors have only managed to score one league win all season, but according to the Seasider’s first team manager Vaughan Carter “there is no place for complacency and hopefully, we have now ended our mid season blip that saw us lose 6 games on the bounce, & after winning away @ Bournemouth a fortnight ago & @ Salisbury last Saturday  team morale has risen & we don’t want to return to the bad old days. Our performance @ Salisbury was as good as any we have produced this season so we want to carry on from where we left off 7 days ago. We are still to finalise the squad as I am waiting for a few lads to get back to me, but it should look something like this”.

Tim Comben, Tom Wildman, Kev Leatham, Tom Drummond, Dan Bowditch,  Lewis Allan, Bryn Llewellyn, Jonny Young, Ben Billington Ben Davies, Sean Murphy, James Davis, Adam Simler, Chris Lewendon, Ryan Lewendon, Billy Hayne Ben Melhuish,

A minutes silence will be observed before the game kicks off in memory of former first team captain Julian Quick who sadly passed away two weeks ago after his long battle with cancer, he will be sadly missed.

The Seasiders 2nd xv visit Division 3 league leaders Dinton.
