Salisbury II v Weymouth & Portland.


Last week’s first team debutants James Davis & Adam Simlar both retain their places in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Salisbury to loch horns with the Wiltshire club’s second xv who currently 3rd in the league able with an impressive record of played 14, won 11 & have amassed a tally of 57 points.

First team manager Vaughan Carter said: “Salisbury are always strong @ home & I don’t think it’s going to be any different tomorrow (Saturday 11/02/2017) “.

“The 2 youngsters James & Adam both made impressive debuts last week in our win @ Bournemouth & deserve their place in the squad, also it’s good to have skipper Ryan Lewendon back now he has recovered from his leg injury”.

The Seasiders second xv have a friendly match @ home against a Bournemouth xv, both matches kick off @ 2.15.

Carter added: “We had a former players re-union before the 6 Nations Internationals kicked off last week & we didn’t know how many would turn up & to be honest I was surprised with the turnout & the clubhouse is open again from 1.00pm before the Wales England game kicks off”.
